What it is best for
Nothing else here hands you an editable file. Ask for a logo, an icon set, a badge or a simple mascot and you get shapes you can open in a vector editor, recolour, and blow up to the side of a building without a single soft edge appearing. For a photographic or painterly picture this is entirely the wrong tool, and for anything a designer would normally draw with a pen tool it is the only one.
Ask for things a vector can actually be: flat colour, a clear silhouette, few elements, no gradients, no texture, no photographic lighting. Minimal line icon of a coffee cup, two colours, thick even strokes works. Realistic coffee cup on a wooden table does not. If the result comes back too busy, cut elements out of the prompt rather than adding words about simplicity.
