Good to know
What it is best for
This is a retoucher, not a generator, and it will not start without your photo. It is at its best on a person who has to stay recognisable while everything around them changes, so outfit swaps, background replacement and a wholesale style pass all land without the face drifting into someone else. Seedream 5 Lite covers similar ground for less and also draws from text alone; come here when the face is the part that must not move.
Attach one clear photo where the subject is large in the frame and evenly lit, then write the instruction as a single change: put him in a navy wool coat, keep the face and the street behind him. Cropped, dark or tiny sources are what make an edit look pasted on. There are no settings to pick, so the photo and that one sentence are the whole job.
Process
Three steps to a finished image
- Open the bot@StarGenAI_Bot, and the Mini App from there. Nothing to download.
- Describe a shot or send a photoYour own prompt, or a ready preset in one tap. A photo gets reworked rather than redrawn.
- Take the image back to the chatIt lands in the same chat you started from, and it turns into a sticker pack.

Which version of Seedream 5 Pro should I pick?
Seedream 5 Pro ships as one version, so there is nothing to choose. Set the options you want and the exact price appears on the generate button before you confirm.
More models
Other models for images
Nano Banana 2
Google's flagship image model. It draws from a description and reworks whatever you send it, and text inside the frame comes out readable, which most models still cannot manage.
from 9 Stars
GPT Image 2
OpenAI's image model reads a long prompt closely and keeps things where you asked for them. Good when the frame needs legible text or a scene built exactly to description.

FLUX.1 Schnell
The quick draft model: you type a prompt and it draws it. Take it when you want to run through a dozen ideas rather than polish one.
from 1 Star
Nano Banana Pro
The bigger Nano Banana: 2K output, clean text inside the frame, and edits that keep the detail. It works from a photo or from a prompt alone.

Pruna P-Image
The fastest image here and one of the cheapest. Take it when you want to run through a dozen ideas rather than polish one.

Nano Banana 2 Lite
Google's editor: attach a photo, say what to change in plain words, and the face and the light survive it. Leave the photo out and it just generates from the prompt.
from 5 Stars
Seedream 5 Lite
The junior Seedream: the same grasp of a complicated scene as the Pro, at a fraction of the price. Strong on keeping a frame internally consistent.

Grok Imagine Image
xAI's image model in three quality rungs. The bottom one costs almost nothing; the top one reaches for the flagships.
