# StarGen AI > StarGen AI is an AI creative suite that runs entirely inside Telegram. The bot @StarGenAI_Bot and its Mini App turn a prompt, a photo, a clip or a voice note into images, video and voice-over, paid in Telegram Stars, with 12 Stars granted free every week. Nothing to install, no sign-up, and the finished file comes back to the chat it started from. There are two ways in and they are the same product: the bot @StarGenAI_Bot, where you forward a photo or type an idea straight into the chat, and the Mini App, which opens from the bot and holds the full interface, prompt entry and model picker. Telegram is the account. There is nothing to download, no password to invent, no email to confirm and no card to enter. Your media is already in the chat, so there is nothing to upload either: you forward a photo to the bot the same way you would forward it to a friend, and the result lands back in that same conversation, ready to send on. StarGen AI runs 42 models today: 21 for images, 15 for video and 6 for voice. You pick the model yourself. A subscription never unlocks a model and never locks one, and no surface anywhere renders a lock. What a plan sells is throughput and perks, never access. The models come from other companies. StarGen AI runs them, prices them in Stars and delivers the result into Telegram; it does not train them. Nobody knows up front what a model will return, the outcome depends on the prompt and on the model itself, and StarGen AI does not guarantee it. ## How it works, in three steps 1. **Forward a photo or type an idea.** Send it to @StarGenAI_Bot. Nothing to upload, because the media is already in Telegram. 2. **Pick a preset.** One-tap effects in the chat, or write your own prompt in the Mini App and choose the model you want. 3. **Get it back in the chat.** The result arrives in the same chat you started from. Alibaba's flagship. One of the strongest in the world on blind comparisons, and inexpensive with it. - **Recraft V4.1**, from 6 Stars. Recraft for design work: clean graphics, careful typography, a result you can predict. - **Krea 2**, from 3 Stars. Krea in three rungs, from very fast to large. It has an aesthetic of its own, which is what people come to it for. - **Pruna P-Image Edit**, from 2 Stars. It is one balance, not a plan, and it sits alongside whatever a subscription grants. ### Two things worth knowing about the price Star prices track the cost of the underlying models and can change. A change never applies to a generation already running, and the current price is always shown before you confirm. Bought outside the app, Stars usually cost a little less. ## What happens when a generation fails If a generation fails on the provider's side, the credits return to the balance automatically. You never pay for a failure that is not yours. A rejected generation is refunded the same way. If the result simply was not what you wanted, that is not a failure: change the description and run it again. You keep the rights to what you upload and to what is generated for you, and you are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. From Telegram, StarGen AI receives your Telegram id, first name, username and language, plus the photo, video or voice note you send when you send one. It stores job records (which model you used, what it cost, when it ran), the media you sent for a generation and the results while they are in your gallery, and your credit balance with the ledger entries behind it. It does not store your chat history or any message not addressed to the bot, your location, card or payment details (payment happens entirely inside Telegram), or your prompt beyond the job record it belongs to. Prompts are translated to English for the model and are not kept beyond that record. The model provider receives your prompt and your media for that one generation and nothing else. Telegram handles the payment. Nothing is sold to anyone and there are no ads. Media stays until you delete it from the gallery or your account is deleted; ledger entries are kept for accounting, because they are the record of money that moved. You can delete any result from the gallery in the Mini App, ask through the bot for your account and its media to be deleted, or block the bot, which stops everything and refunds any queued job.
